Celebrating the lives of Chris Lyden and Elaine Young
Help us celebrate the lives of two wonderful and instrumental club members whose lives will be missed. We will be hosting a special gathering and celebration after Best in Show on Saturday, August 19, 2023.
Chris Lyden has left us too soon. His vision and foresight helped propel the club to think outside the box for the future of our club. Sadly, you left us too soon to guide and facilitate your vision, but you remain in our hearts.
Elaine Young, a grand lady who has been instrumental in the world of dog shows when women were scarce and unseen. She was a pioneer in the field of dog shows, contributing her expertise globally to help expand dog shows into China, where 'no man hath gone'. You will be missed and a Grand Champion in the hearts of many!
May both of you be welcomed at the Rainbow Bridge and know the joy and happiness of being greeted by your canine companions.
